On a verdict

Seats are paid.

Non-timed-out seats are paid and the protocol fee is charged. Insufficient evidence and missing context are completed, chargeable verdicts.

On HUNG

Fee comes back.

Responding jurors keep their fees; the protocol fee and timed-out seats are refunded. On the $0.10 tier: $0.08 charged, $0.02 refunded.

No answer in an hour

Expire it on chain.

An open or sealed query can be expired after its one-hour deadline, refunding the escrow. It takes an expiry transaction; time alone moves nothing.
